SAN FRANCISCO - Two law enforcement officers who appeared in a Web porn video are not likely to lose 
their jobs over their off-duty performing but they may end up off the street for the time being.
San Francisco Police Department officer Darryl Watts is reported to have been moved to a desk job and off his beat in the Tenderloin district. His onscreen partner, San Francisco County Sheriff’s Department institutional officer Kelly Francisco ("Myra" in the clip), is still on her post at San Francisco General Hospital, but might still face some career damage for her role in the video according to one report.
The twosome is said to have featured in a 45-minute entry in a series known as Bus Stop Whores, shot in Los Angeles and available online. Watts plays a man solicited by Francisco’s character for $500, and the twosome goes from there to “vigorously... demonstrate a variety of full cavity search techniques not found in the standard police manual,” (San Francisco Chronicle May 26).
Francisco is known as Mira in the video and on the Website. “Mira! Mira! is all (you) can say about this hot Latina,” says the site introduction to her appearance. “When [given] the chance to make some quick cash, her big-ass titties popped out in a flash! What a video this is as you’ll see her tits flopping all over the place!!”
The SFPD and the county sheriff’s department have said they were unaware of the video or the two officers’ involvement until May 21. “One of our officers may be involved in some type of misconduct involving an Internet Website,” SFPD spokeswoman Maria Oropeza told KPIX-TV, San Francisco’s CBS affiliate. “The department immediately began an investigation, and we’ll be looking into any possible violations of rules or procedures of the police department.”
Watts and Francisco may not have to worry about having to turn in their badges in the long run, thanks in part to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. That court previously held that a San Diego police officer who made sexy videos of himself off-duty and auctioned them on eBay did not interfere with his duties as a police officer.
At least one San Francisco cop is not exactly screaming in outrage over his colleagues’ turn in Bus Stop Whores. “Hey, this is San Francisco – what do you expect?’’ Sgt. Joe Garrity, who worked out of the same station as Watts, told the Chronicle. “Personally, I haven’t seen the movie – but then I’m more of a Disney kind of guy. But from what I hear, Brad Pitt doesn’t have anything to worry about.’’
